I like this sound bar. It does the job well. The Amazon site states that this product is often returned to the seller by customers. I suppose the main reason is that the product shuts off on its own every several minutes which is very annoying. I take one star down for this, but what compelled me to write this review, is to say to other buyers that we don’t need to return the product for this reason. I contacted the seller via Amazon Customer Service, and exposed the problem, and they immediately, the next day, sent me a link to download a firmware update with clear instructions on how to apply the patch, and the problem got immediately solved. So, kudos to the seller for being responsive to a customer’s concern, and getting it entirely solved in the time frame of 24 hours! The Amazon Customer Service representative had told me, “let’s send a message to the seller about this; they have a history of being extremely responsive to customers’ concerns!” Indeed, they are! I was very impressed by how fast my issue got satisfactorily addressed!Still, I’m keeping the 4-star rating rather than a 5-star, because one might still think that it would have been easier if the seller or the maker had applied the firmware patch to the product before shipping it. This is a suggestion for the seller and/or the maker: do this update to the firmware before the product gets to the customer, and I bet the rate of return will be way smaller, given that other than for this annoying but easily fixable glitch, the product is very good and very well-priced. Shipping it like it is and putting the customer through the inconvenience of fixing it after getting frustrated with the issue, does take one star from the rating. But again, the fix was clearly instructed and worked very well so this should not be a reason not to buy this product.Another suggestion for the seller: if it is not possible to apply the patch before shipping the product (it would have to involve opening the plastic wraps and some customers might think that the product was used or refurbished rather than brand new), then, just send the link and the instructions to the customers simultaneously with shipping the product, or add to the package a sheet of instructions mentioning the problem and its easy fix so that customers can do it immediately upon opening up the package and setting up the item.
